Who we are, in short

Our mission

Smart technology, in farmers' hands

Our mission is simple: to create smart, easy-to-use technologies that make farming more profitable and more sustainable. We believe that by empowering farmers we can build a better, more resilient food future for everyone.

We know that technology is only a tool. Its real power is unlocked by the people who use it. That is why we build lasting relationships with our clients, working together to make sure our solutions deliver real, measurable value in the field.

Research dedicated to agricultural water management

CAWM is a department of the association, without separate legal personality. It measures actual water use on farms and tests practices that keep water in the soil. Its structure includes a director, four operational units and two advisory councils.

Launch projects

Four projects set out the first investments in skills, data, infrastructure and the bioeconomy.

  1. Vocational retraining centre

In Remeți pe Someș: training, certification, licensing and instruction in the use of agricultural drones.

    12–24 months · 100–300 trainees per year
  2. Regional data, HPC and AI centre

Planned infrastructure for high-performance computing (HPC), artificial intelligence and IoT data, supporting agriculture and the bioeconomy.

200 TB storage · 30–50 members connected in phase I
  3. Off-grid cold store for vegetables

Storage with its own energy microgrid, based on photovoltaics and battery storage.

    1,000 t chilled storage · 100 t frozen storage
  4. Integrated circular bioeconomy project

Food, feed, energy and raw materials from soil and water resources, in partnership with SC GNIR.

    Estimated site requirement: 15 ha
Project in development · HPC and bioeconomy

A resilient green HPC data centre for the bioeconomy

The cluster plans to develop the regional data centre with high-performance computing (HPC) and artificial intelligence capabilities for simulations, climate-risk analysis and insights from water, crop and biomass data.

Renewable power and storage
Renewable energy, photovoltaics and batteries integrated into an energy microgrid.
Closed-loop cooling
Recirculating coolant, with non-evaporative options under evaluation and monitoring of water and energy use.
Circular thermal integration
Heat recovery and potential integration with the off-grid cold store, using heat exchangers and separate circuits.
Continuity and security
Redundant power, data backup and cybersecurity designed for resilient regional services.

Project figures are estimates; HPC capacity, cooling and energy integration will be confirmed through feasibility studies.
